This perfectly framed view of Mt. Rushmore is through one of several one-lane tunnels along the Iron Mountain Road section of the Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway. Steve is the silhouette in the tunnel.
The 60-foot sculptures of the heads of four United States presidents; George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln; represent the birth, growth, development and preservation of the country.
Oh looky! Most of the folks from the 2015 tour actually got together for a group picture at Mount Rushmore. Standing left to right is, Kevin, Sandi, Derek, Bev, Robert, Ian, Helen, Martin, and kneeling, Paul.
