Innere Stadt Walking Tour
The Anchor Clock (Ankeruhr) is situated on the oldest square of Vienna, 'Hoher Markt'. The clock forms a bridge between two parts of the Anker Insurance Company's building. In the course of 12 hours, twelve historical figures or pairs of figures move across the bridge. Every day at noon, all figures parade accompanied by music from the various eras. This tourist spectacle is a special kind of Viennese High Noon.
The Graben Vienna is an exclusive and pulsating shopping street in the heart of the inner city. The origin of this street dates back to the old Romans and it is surrounded by popular alleys, streets and places which stand for the typical flair, elegant tradition and gourmet pleasures.
