Rhine River
A barge headed down the Rhine at dusk.
Four barges moored for the evening and a fifth heading for mooring in preparation of taking on the infamous "Lorelei" stretch in the morning. The legend goes that a beautiful siren, Lorelei, on the cliffs lures sailors to their death in the treacherous currents of this narrowest and deepest section of the Rhine.
