The Snowy Range Scenic Byway was called the "Great Skyroad" when it was completed in 1926 after 6 years of construction. Maximum elevation is at Snowy Range Pass at 10, 847 feet.

Lolo Pass is one of the premier motorcycling roads in the Pacific Northwest. If you catch it on a sunny day, which is quite often in the summer, it is superb.
