A Motorcycle Tour
Of
The Colorado Rocky Mountains,
the Grand Tetons, and
Yellowstone National Park

We conducted a motorcycle tour of a portion of the "Wild Western United States" for MCi Tours of England. It was part of the MCi FlyRide program to introduce the merits of worldwide motorcycling to their clients. My GPS recorded the tracks of our journey that covered 2500 miles in the States of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. We explored the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, enjoyed the majestic peaks of the Grand Teton Mountains in Wyoming, marveled at the variety of Yellowstone National Park, rode one of the best motorcycle roads in the US, Beartooth Pass, and experienced the vast open plains of Wyoming.

Our tour started in Denver, Colorado, where we met our two couples Stuart and Thelma, and Wayne and Theresa, arriving from England. Julie and I had ridden our own motorcycles, a pair of BMW K1200S's, to Denver from our home in Washington State. The MCi tour packages included rental of BMW motorcycles for our guests for the duration of the tour. Stuart and Thelma chose a BMW R1200GS, and Wayne and Theresa chose a BMW R1200RT. We spent the next two weeks with these delightful folks riding to see some of the prettiest sights in the US. Just click on the highlighted hyperlinks to see some of the sights we encountered. We hope you enjoy our trip.
